Pack size100 syringes

31gauge, 8 mm short needle on a 1 mL barrel graduated in single units to 100.

The needle is permanently bonded into the hub, so no dose is left behind.

Sterile · EO 31G · 8mm ISO 13485:2016 CE 0197 Non-pyrogenic Single use

Built around the part of the day nobody looks forward to

Four things separate a syringe you tolerate from one you stop noticing.

31 Gauge

Among the finest needles made for insulin. The higher the gauge number the thinner the shaft, and the thinner the shaft the less you feel going in.

8 mm short length

Insulin is meant to go into fat, not muscle, and a muscle hit stings and absorbs unpredictably. At 8 mm the needle is short enough that most adults can inject straight in without pinching a fold first.

Readable at 2am

Single-unit graduations printed in high-contrast black on a clear barrel, numbered every ten. No squinting to find your dose in low light.

No dead space

The needle is bonded straight into the hub rather than screwed on, so there is no reservoir under the plunger holding back the last fraction of a unit.

Sealed one at a time, not loose in a box

Each syringe comes in its own peel-open sterile wrapper. Nothing is exposed until the moment you open it, and every wrapper carries its own lot number, manufacture date and expiry — so a single pack can be traced back to the batch it came from.

  • ISO 13485:2016 — the quality management standard for medical device manufacturing
  • CE 0197 — conformity marking with the notified body number printed alongside
  • STERILE / EO — ethylene oxide sterilised, sterile until the seal is broken
  • LOT · MFG · EXP — traceability printed on every individual wrapper

Two cap colours, for one practical reason

If more than one person in the house injects, or you are managing a second prescription alongside your own, colour is the fastest way to tell two sets apart at a glance.

Using and disposing of them safely

1. Check the seal

Sterility depends on an intact wrapper. If the paper is lifted, torn or wet, discard that syringe and take a fresh one.

2. One injection, then done

The needle dulls on first use. Reusing a syringe raises the risk of infection and makes the injection hurt more.

3. Straight into a sharps bin

Never in household waste and never recapped. Use an approved sharps container, or a rigid sealed plastic container if your area allows it, and follow your local collection rules.

Availability varies by state. Some US states limit over-the-counter syringe sales by age or quantity, or ask for evidence of a prescription. Please check the rules that apply where you live before ordering. These syringes are supplied for administering insulin your prescriber has already prescribed. They are not a medicine and do not treat any condition on their own.

Questions people ask before their first order

Will these fit my insulin?

They are made for U-100 insulin, which is the standard concentration for almost every insulin dispensed in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. Check the vial label for "U-100" before ordering. If your insulin is U-500, these are the wrong syringe and the dose markings will not correspond.

Is 31G, 8 mm the right needle for me?

It is the size most adults on insulin are prescribed, and current injection guidance favours shorter needles for almost everyone regardless of body size, because they lower the chance of reaching muscle. If you have been told to use a specific length, follow that instruction rather than switching on your own.

Do I need a prescription to order?

In most US states insulin syringes are sold over the counter and you can order without one. A minority of states apply conditions such as a minimum age, a cap on quantity, or evidence of a diagnosis. Because those rules vary, please check what applies in your state before ordering.

Can I reuse one to save money?

No, and we would rather lose the sale than tell you otherwise. The tip blunts measurably after a single injection. Reuse increases the risk of infection, lipohypertrophy at the injection site, and a noticeably more painful injection. If cost is the reason you are asking, the largest pack brings the price down per syringe, which is usually cheaper than the reuse you were considering.

How discreet is the packaging?

The outer box is plain, unbranded and carries no medical wording. The shipping label shows our trading name only. Nothing on the outside indicates what is inside or that it relates to diabetes.

What if I order the wrong size?

Unopened packs can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. For sterility reasons we cannot accept a pack once the seal is broken, which is standard for sterile medical supplies. Message us before you send anything back and we will sort the exchange.
